MeadowVision

Meadow Creek has owned its own cable system since 2000.  It was originally installed in 1996,and it is a very high quality system.  It basically runs parallel to the Comcast system, and it is equal to the Comcast system in quality and capacity.

If you are a Meadow Creek resident, you will find two cable jacks on the outside wall of your living room.  Normally, the jacks are next to each other.  One is the MeadowVision cable jack, and the other is the Comcast jack.  If you have a fireplace, you will usually find one jack on the kitchen/dining side of the fireplace (this is the MeadowVision jack) and the second jack on the bedroom side of the fireplace (this is the Comcast jack).

It took seven years to dins a company with which to partner in order to use the MeadowVision cable system in a way that will truly benefit Meadow Creek residents.  In early 2008, we began discussions with Warner Properties Communications (WPC).  The goal was to use the system to provide high-quality, low-cost cable TV and Internet service to Meadow Creek residents.

WPC is a local company.  Its parent company, Warner Properties (WP), has been doing business in the Twin Cities for over 80 years.  You can dins out more about both by going to their websites:  www.wpcon.net for WPC, and www.warnerproperties.net for WP.

In early 2009, we reached agreement with WPC, and in the spring of 2009, WPC began offering a great package of services to Meadow Creek residents:

WPC is offering us a great deal.  Their rates are not introductory rates. They will not change unless what WPC is charged by its suppliers goes up, and in that case, WPC’s commitment to us is that they will pass through only the increase that they pay – no up-charge.

Also, you do not need to commit to a one- or two-year contract in order to take advantage of their rates. You can sign up anytime you want, and you can drop anytime you want.

If you want to check out the channels offered with the Basic Package, stop by the Association Office anytime (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM), and take a look.  We have a functioning display that you can try out, starting the week of November 23rd.

Signing up is really easy! Just come to the Association Office, and fill out the service agreement.  You then only need to pay $30 up front for installation.  It all takes only a few minutes for the whole process.

Note: If you sign up for Internet service, you will need to pay $40 for a new modem (a one-time charge).  However, if you already have a modem, and if WPC finds that it works when WPC comes to do your installation, you can return the MeadowVision modem for a full refund.
